We have a new leader in the chart of the week’s most pirated movies and it’s “Dracula Untold,” a new entry that skyrocketed straight to the top of the list.

The film tells a new version of the story of Vlad Tepes (the Impaler), weaving vampire mythology into the actual history of the Romanian ruler. This is yet another twist on the Dracula story, but one that brings something new to a story that’s been told a million times, especially in Hollywood.

Coming up on the second spot is last week’s leading movie, “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” even though this is just a webrip version that’s making the rounds, reveals a chart published by TorrentFreak. People seem happy with the quality of the footage, however, even though this is no DVD copy just yet.

Next up is another new entry called “If I Stay.” Featuring Chloe Grace Moretz, the film tells the story of a young lady trying to make a hard decision about her career who ends up having to make one that will decide her ultimate fate.

Down two spots from last week’s chart, the comedy “Let’s Be Cops” follows up next. The film tells the story of two pals who dress up as police officers for a costume party and somehow manage to become involved in a twisted situation with mobsters and dirty cops.

This week’s last new entry is “Into the Storm,” another movie that comes with an apocalypse flavor as a small town gets ravaged by tornadoes. The film features Sarah Wayne, known for her role in “Prison Break” and as one of the most hated characters in “The Walking Dead.”

At number six is “Hercules,” yet another retake on the mythological story, featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the main role, as well as Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, and Peter Mullan.

It's all about adventure

Next up is “Step Up All In,” featuring what feels like the most of the artists from the “So You Think You Can Dance” show.

One of Philip Seymour Hoffman’s last roles was in “A Most Wanted Man,” which landed on the eighth spot. The film also features Rachel McAdams, Willem Dafoe and Robin Wright.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” slipped two spots from last week’s number seven, down to number nine. This year’s summer blockbuster features Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace and a long list of other well-known actors.

Last one up is “How to Train Your Dragon 2,” the second installment of the successful 20th Century Fox animation series.
