Uppercut Games (EPOCH series) has announced its next game and it's built on Unreal Engine 4. Grab It has the details.
Starting today, Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Submerged, and a Knockout City bundle are free at Epic Games Store. The free game offers run until September 8 at 11 AM Eastern. Once you claim them, they're yours to keep.
Submerged: Hidden Depths exists on its own chill plane – an exploration game that is truly about exploration and little else..
I do like the art style of the game. Too bad it's only on Stadia. It kind of looks like it has that same vibe as Flower and Journey on the PS3. Obviously this has human looking characters in it, but the way he describes the chill nature of the gameplay, and simple controls remind me of those kind of games.
Submerged is a third-person combat-free game in which you explore a mysterious flooded city and discover the beauty of desolation in vast outdoor environments.
EPOCH 2 was excellent and the early screens for this look promising. Would like to see some gameplay, though.
That UE4 support is too real.
Nice to see another developer jumping on this engine. Hope the game hits PS4...
I really hope this is the cusp of what we can expect from new devs using UE4. Really glad the price point is much lower for devs to jump on board.
