Neeson says whoa to NY carriage ban

Actor Liam Neeson has criticised New York's mayor, who wants to end the city's horse-drawn carriage service

Actor Liam Neeson had the bit between his teeth when he chided New York mayor Bill de Blasio for wanting to shut down the city's horse-drawn carriage industry.

Saying he was "a little bit p****d off", Neeson complained during an appearance on The Daily Show that critics had put out false information about the horses' welfare, saying drivers treated them like their own children.
