Nice Kicks has confirmed with several sources just moments ago that in fact the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” would return in 2016, but contrary to reports, it has yet to be confirmed whether or not the Space Jams would be the coveted December Jordan 11 release.
The Space Jam 11 returns in 2016 for the 20th anniversary in collaboration with Warner Brothers. It has been confirmed that Jordan Brand has worked directly with Warner Brothers on special licensing on apparel and accessories that hook to the Air Jordan 11s.
It should be noted that the actual date of the release of the Space Jam film was on November 15, 1996. Perhaps we will see the Space Jam 11s drop in November of 2016? We’ll be sure to keep you posted.
For those of you who remember (or have been counting), the last time we saw the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” release was in December of 2009 which kicked off a serious run for Jordan Brand.
The “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 never released in the OG days despite being the very first color way of the Air Jordan 11 that Michael Jordan wore on court in the 1995 NBA Playoffs against the Orlando Magic.
