Total mobile subscribers in Pakistan, cited in the Ansr.io report.
There are now 30 million internet users in Pakistan, 15 million of whom browse the web using their mobile phone, states a new report by mobile survey company Ansr.io.
According to the report, internet penetration in the country has reached 16%, while broadband subscribers have more than doubled in the last two years.
Terming Pakistan ‘the fifth largest mobile phone market in Asia,’ the report cited 10% smartphone penetration, although 80% of phones were found to be costing less than $100.
The report also cited an encouraging 11% of internet mobile visits out of 182 million total page views in April, 2013.

@Shaami: After paying income tax, we pay gross sales tax and tax on every item we purchase. And now telecom sectors are ready to suck our blood out of our veins. @Faisal Kapadia: That's not the half of it. I have yet to see an authentic source of 30 Million internet users in Pakistan. PTA & ITU keep referring to each other, and nobody knows the actual number.
Twitter numbers are vague at best. No way it's 2 million actual users.
Facebook user base actually crossed 9 Million mark yesterday, and male/female split will stay constant irrespective or any campaign. You're mixing up target audience, and actual internet audience :) And split is 71 : 29 to be precise.

@Gemini: Everyone who earns must pay a tax in Pakistan and as simple as that. So E-Commerce is not an exception at all. Less than 1 percent pay direct taxes in our country and then we say why our economy is tumbling down. So dont get ashamed of paying taxes or running your business as a tax free entity.
I'm confused, what is a "feature phone"? Is it smart phone? in any case Symbain is not "i.e. feature phone" as Symbian is Symbian .. one of very few infographics that have actually left me confused.
I'm tempted to believe that the higher mobile internet usage is down to the load-shedding more than the actual internet usage habits of our high-tech nation too.
There are plenty of figures wrong in this info graphic as per me. Facebook has 8.8 million users from Pakistan...twitters figures are from which source? As twitter officially does not respond to requests for figures on pakistan?
Split between men and women using facebook is not 70 to 30 it differs from campaign to campaign.
The biggest funny is showing grown of 7% per anum in social media and then stating facebook has grown by 1.1 million users in 6 months!!! That in itself is a rise of bout 13% in the last six months

Well there is a high probability that Internet users who use mobile internet will also be using internet on Computer .. so actual internet users in Pakistan are far less than report... may be around 10 to 12 million .. certain users use mobile internet + fixedline + dongle + they may use internet at work and u cant count it as 4 users but 1 .....
Ooh God why you have shown Ecommerce and Online Advertising Industry here, they will find another way to tax this industry as well :P
