A Barrie man is realizing his dream of playing professional golf.
Terry O’Brien has been trying to get his pro card for about 10 years and this weekend he finally gets to tee it up for cash.
On Monday, the 33-year-old qualified for the PGA Tour Canada and will be playing in the Forces and Families Open in Ottawa beginning this Thursday.
O'Brien plays out of National Pines in Barrie and his proud family says he’s been swinging the clubs since he was six.
