Mr. Nuthatch On Point

I like nuthatches. One thing I like about them is that all four North American species are distinctively marked, so there's no messing around trying to identify them, and three of those four species live where I live.

Their voices are really cute, too. And their posture and foraging behavior.

Basically, they're adorable.

Edited to add: Oh, sorry. That's a White-breasted Nuthatch (Sitta carolinensis). I sometimes reblog something where the OP identified the bird in tags, but neglect to ID it myself.
