Which industries were hit hardest by last month's Oregon-wide job cuts?

For the first time in nearly a year, Oregon's economic recovery pulled back in June.

The state Employment Department said Tuesday that employers cut 4,300 jobs last month. The slowdown touched many industries, not isolated to one sector or type of job.

The private sector alone cut a combined 2,800 positions. Public agencies lost another 1,500. Here is how that breaks down:

Several industries helped offset those losses, though not enough to reverse all the declines:
