Duke Dumont primes his underground side with ‘Mumble Man’

After captivating the mainstream and underground alike over the past year with stellar tracks “I Got You” and “NEED U (100%),” all eyes are on the Duke. The British producer’s next move includes a return to Turbo Recordings: the label which originally gave Dumont his start back in 2007. Duke will rejoin Tiga’s imprint for the third installation of his For Club Play Only series.

Last week, Dumont gave us the first taste with “Slow Dance,” a rugged house track with a brilliantly unsettling piano line. Now we’ve received the next piece of the puzzle with “Mumble Man,” an old school house track designed for the heat and heaviness of a late-hour club set. With not much more than the bare essentials of drums, bassline, pad and acapella, Duke has crafted a track simple yet indubitably effective.

While on the one hand he continues to brandish his mainstream appeal with tracks like “Wont Look Back,” Dumont looks to maintain his predilection for the underground sound with the third edition of For Club Play Only.

Release Date: TBA
