Social conservatives on Monday attacked
a gay-inclusive Coca-Cola ad which premiered during the Super Bowl.
Their outrage, however, was not
targeted at the ad's inclusion of a gay family, but rather Coke's use
of immigrants singing America's praises in foreign languages.

Glenn Beck declared the ad was “an in
your face” effort to “divide people.”
The ad's point, according
to Beck, was to send the message that “if you're offended by
it, then you're a racist. … That's all this is, is to divide
people.”
Fox News' Todd Starnes tweeted that
“Coca Cola is the official soft drink of illegals crossing the
border.”
“So was Coca-Cola saying America is
beautiful because new immigrants don't learn to speak English?” he
messaged to his followers on Twitter.
