How Are You Teaching Your Kids to Be Safe Online?

We teach our children to be safe in the real world, when walking to school or meeting strangers, but what about the great, big, sometimes dangerous place called the internet?

Besids social networking etiquette, kids these days will have to learn about viruses, phishing schemes, privacy issues, and online bullying. It's a lot to learn and teach.

The Guardian rounded up some great advice from security experts on how they're handling this issue with their kids. One of my favorites from that list is Neil Thacker's strategy of getting his kids (under 10 years old) to help him install patches and run network scans.

What's your strategy?
