BROOKLYN (PIX11) — Police are searching for a man who was caught on camera firing his gun at point blank range at another man on a Brooklyn sidewalk.

The dramatic footage shows the shooter approaching the 41-year-old victim in front of 653 Stanley Ave. Sunday evening and pulling out his gun. He brazenly shoots the victim in the face before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he remains in critical condition Tuesday, police said.

Police say the gunman is  about 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 230 pounds with brown eyes and close-cut black hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
