Jose Andres' Pizza at 800 Degrees; LuckyRice Returns

SLS LAS VEGAS — José Andrés took to the kitchens of 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria to create his own pizza with a Bianco base (mozzarella, parmesan, garlic, oregano, olive oil, no sauce), topped with fresh burrata, caviar and basil. Anthony Carron, the chef at 800 Degrees, added it to the menu for a limited time. The Lo Spagnolo (Italian for the Spaniard) will be running on special while supplies last for $50. [EaterWire]

COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS — LuckyRice Night Market returns to the Boulevard Pool on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 8 to 11 p.m. The outdoor marketplace will feature traditional and modern Asian street food from Pichet Ong (New York City), Cedric Vongerichten (Perry St, New York City) and Miguel Trinidad (Maharlika, New York City) as well as chefs from Raku, Sweets Raku and Chada Thai. The Cosmopolitan's own culinary teams from China Poblano, Estiatorio Milos, Rose.Rabbit.Lie. and STK will create their own takes on Eastern cuisine while the resort's resident mixologists will also be on hand, serving specialty-curated cocktails spiked with Asian flair.
