Gamecrastinate- The NDA for Relic’s upcoming standalone mutliplayer expansion, Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies, has just been partially lifted. The testers that have experienced the game up to this point are now allowed to divulge some details before the release on June 24th. We’ve compiled a bunch of info about the upcoming game below.
Relic Entertainment has stated that they wish to see Company of Heroes 2 as a WWII platform for players to experience WWII with its various factions and armies. How exactly may Relic entertainment fulfill this desire? Well, adding two whole new factions into the fold wouldn’t be a bad start.
This standalone expansion adds two additional armies to the Company of Heroes 2 franchise, bringing the total number of playable factions to four. The expansion aims to appeal to WWII strategy fans who are eager to have a taste of what Company of Heroes 2 can bring to the western front, by featuring the U.S. Forces (USF) and Oberkommando West (OKW).
