Today's obits: Glenn W. Clark served school districts in Fulton, North Syracuse, F-M, Fabius-Pompey

Glenn W. Clark, 93, died June 9, 2014 in New Bern, N.C., after a short illness. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II and in the Korean conflict. In 1986, he received the Conspicuous Service Cross, New York State's highest military award. He had a long career as a teacher and school administrator in Upstate New York. He taught in Conifer and Chateaugay, and served as high school principal in Conifer, Waddington and Fulton He was superintendent of schools in Fulton from 1959 until his retirement in 1976. He then served as interim superintendent at North Syracuse, Fayetteville-Manlius and Fabius-Pompey Central Schools.
