ILL NANA/DiverseCity Dance Company- is a queer positive multiracial dance company that embraces difference as strength, combats oppressive power structures by expressing their voices through dance. They are committed to representing LGBTTIQQ2S people, people of colour, people with varying body types, class backgrounds, and abilities on stage and in media, as well as providing accessible dance education to these communities. Utilizing both classical dance techniques and urban dance forms ILL NANA creates dance works with a style all their own. These performers are fearlessly out and proud, sexy, masculine, feminine, and all that is in between, representing the super queeroe's and real humans in all of us.

This is your chance to share your special talent, or even make your stage debut, in front of a warm and supportive audience.

No experience? No problem. Anything goes at QUEER CAB and everyone is welcome! You must be 25 or under to sign up to perform.

Every month is a different show, depending on what YOU bring to it. Music, spoken word, monologues, dance, drag, songs, scenes, stand-up, burlesque, videos, magic tricks, performance art, juggling, rants QUEER CAB is a great place to try out something new, showcase your stuff, get inspired, and to meet other young queer artists.

We'll give you 5 minutes. We've got a bare stage, a microphone, a CD player, a video projector and a piano and you've got the talent!
