Pork and Squid Adobo │ Adobong Baboy at Pusit This adobo dish of pork and squid combination is usually served at Pilipino restaurant. It is usually a part of a squid adobo cooked four ways. But today will just cook the Pork and Squid Adobo way. Ingredients: 1 1/2 kilo pork belly, adobo cut 1 kilo medium to large squid, ink sack discarded, cut into large rings 2-3 medium size onions, chopped 1/2 head garlic, chopped 1 1/2 tbsp. cracked peppercorns 3-4 pieces bay leaves 2-3 tbsp. fish sauce 3/4 cup soy sauce 3/4 cup vinegar 2-3 tbsp oyster sauce 1/4 cup cornstarch diluted in water green or red chilies optional sugar to taste salt cooking oil

PORK WHITE ADOBO serve with FRIED TOMATOES, FRIED EGGPLANT AND BOILED EGG I am sharing today a simple One Pot Adobo Recipe. PORK WHITE ADOBO serve with FRIED TOMATOES, FRIED EGGPLANT AND BOILED EGG. The recipe is so simple that all I did was put in all the ingredients together in a sauce or braising pot, stirring was also minimal and of course only the basic ingredients were used. This is a white adobo obviously soy sauce was not used and even fish sauce. To compensate for the pale looking white adobo, I pan fry some tomatoes and eggplant slices to go with the white adobo. Adobo is not complete without boiled eggs.

ADOBONG SILI at BABOY, Siling Ilocano If you are watching this video you have come across ADOBONG SILING ILOCANO or most likely you are an ILOCANO, or knew that there are variety of long green sili that are not spicy or hot. Overseas Pinoy Cooking - Adobong Sili Ilocano green long sili from Vigan are not spicy and hot, eaten in volume as regular vegetable vian. On this video I bought these Ilocano long green sili on my recent trip to SOMO Market in Molino, Daang Hari Rd. There are several ways to cook it, from simple blanching, grilling, pakbet, inabraw to adobo. Today we are cooking Adobong Sili. Best served with bagoong isda with kalamansi dip. This adbo is oily. “masarap ihalo ang mantka ng adobo sa kanin tapos lagyan ng kunting bagoong isda na may kalamansi”. Fried Chicken Adobo This Fried Chicken Adobo was inspired by Chef Ricky Ocampo's Chicken Adobo Recipe on the Food Safari TV episode of SBS Australia’s Filipino Food Episode, way back when I was in Australia. One Pot Classic Chicken Adobo with Atsuete Today I am sharing a simple recipe of a One Pot Classic Chicken Adobo with Atsuete. It is as simple as putting all the ingredients together. Hindi na kailangan pang igisa at ibabad ang chicken. For color I also added some annatto extract. Pork Adobo with Garbanzos . I have been thinking for a while on what to do with the canned garbanzos that I have bought several weeks ago. I am too lazy to cook a tomato stew dish, I just wanted a simple Pinoy dish with garbanzos, but I ran out of ideas. Besides all I had was just a half kilo of pork rashers that was also in the fridge for several days now. Out of my laziness to cook something with tomato sauce. I just decided, why not just cooked pork adobo out of the pork rashers and just mix in the canned garbanzos. Garbanzos in adobo is not really new. The pictures make you droll and crave. It may not be presented as fancy as a glossy recipe book, but it is how we Pinoy serve our meals every day. It is served strait from the pan with out all those cosmetic garnishing. The most important is the food taste and smells great. Today I am sharing a chicken version, Chicken Mushroom Adobo . Cooking is similar to the chicken adobo cooking method by Chef Ricky Ocampo that was feature of the Filipino Food Episode of SBS Australia TV’s Food Safari show. Since mushroom requires minimal cooking, the mushrooms were added in the final stages of cooking.
