Elementary Art Lessons: Van Gogh Impressionism K-5 Bundle & Marzano and Dr Who

This lesson is a bundle of Van Gogh inspired lesson plans designed for students k - 5. Each lesson was created with an interactive power point presentation to engage your students and stimulate their creativity. Doctor Who is my class theme this year, and we are traveling through space and time to visit artists and learn about the different styles throughout history.

The kids absolutely love love love the incorporation of a popular tv show into our daily class environment. These lessons can be interchanged between grade levels by simply switching the standards. There are so many ways to mix and match the projects that you could use this for an entire quarter or more.

Marzano's Domains have been incorporated into every lesson and as I grow in my knowledge of his practices, I use that to better the presentation. You will notice these presentations have questions on the beginning slides. I have used this as previewing new content and hypothesizing (element 22).
