Veep's Matt Walsh has signed up for the Shirley MacLaine comedy Wild Oats.
The Andy Tennant-directed movie stars MacLaine and Jessica Lange as two friends who go on a wild road trip after mistakenly receiving a multi-million dollar check.
Walsh has been cast as a con man who partners up with a fellow crook to be played by Billy Connolly, according to Deadline.
The actor is a founding member of influential improvisational comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade, and has appeared in Old School and Ted.
He currently portrays frazzled political aide Mike McLintock in HBO's award-winning programme Veep.
Wild Oats will also star Demi Moore, who stepped in to replace Sarah Jessica Parker earlier in June.
The film is expected to open next year.
