Taylor Momsen leads the grungy glamour in skinny leather trousers at Kerrang! Awards 2014... as she scoops gong for Hottest Female

Taylor Momsen wrestled some of the spotlight away from big winners You me At Six on Thursday evening as she made an appearance at the annual Kerrang! Awards in London.

The Pretty Reckless singer was on hand to collect the award for Hottest Female at the event, supported by Staritsky & Levitsky Vodka, at art deco theatre The Troxy and she caught the eye after arriving with her bandmates.

Taylor, 20, opted for a grungy statement T-shirt bearing the blunt message Freedom is a Lie as she posed for photos backstage, matching it with a pair of tight leather trousers and chunky platform boots

With her heavy make-up and vacant stare Taylor looked markedly different to Jenni Humphries, the comparatively wholesome character she played in former US teen drama Gossip Girl.

Other big winners on the night included Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack, who claimed the gong for Hottest Male, and British band Architects – winners of the Best Album award for Lost Forever // Lost Together.

HBO show Game Of Thrones also got a nod on the night by laiming the award for Best TV Show.
