To celebrate the launch of Early Access, Kasedo has released a brand new Developer Featurette video for the game: giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the game and the thought process behind making it part of Steam Early Access.
The ‘Advanced Tactics’ DLC for Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caeser is out today and adds 6 all new-units to your mercenary army: including the Kush Archer, Parthian Cataphracts and Horse Archers, Berber Javelineer, Naked Skirmishers and Gallic Ambushers. The additional content makes use of the recently introduced ambush game feature that allows units to shroud themselves within the field of war, await the approaching enemy forces and seize the opportunity for an attack advantage.
Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
My initial response when first playing Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar, was to compare it to the Total War series. However, after a short time with the game, despite some similarities, The Rise of Caesar shows some fresh takes on the strategy warfare genre, but also fails to display the kind of depth some might be looking for.
When and where ever Ceasar Rises I shall be there to burn him down.
Certainly NOT anywhere close to Total Rome but I may check it out.
Risen 3. And, the following is also a list of PC games released for the week of August 10th, 2014.
