original sin #3 theories and the like
i thought it was the other way around??? like i thought the reveal was that bucky was the bad guy. OMFG I AM SO BAD AT READING COMICS tho like. i never understand what’s happening so.
i really like the original sin secret avengers infinite comics, btw (they’re included in the special digital bundles of… well the new one was with original sin #3, i think the first one must have been with original sin #2).
they’re kind of slipping under the radar, like infinite comics usually do. but if you read digital comics, i strongly recommend them. they use the animation features really fucking well - this week’s one might use the animations the best of anything i’ve read (except maybe batman 66). it’s really beautiful, it has this great glitchy transition between some of the pages that really works with/advances the story. like it wouldn’t work in non-infinite comics because - it needs this form.
it focuses on nick fury jr. (coulson’s there too but it’s mostly nick) and it’s just FUN and CLEVER.
and it’s not really got anything to do with original sin (directly, anyway, except for being about A SECRET. this is the best way to do it i think).
Reached for comment on the murder, Bucky told reporters that there would probably be a twist that reveals he is not a villain. Bucky also stated, “No-one stays dead in comics except Uncle Ben, Jason Todd, and me.”
The voices of millions of dead superhero girlfriends cried out in protest and were suddenly ignored.
