Virtual racing fans, we're betting the September 15 release of Forza Motorsport 6 is circled on your calendars. We're here to tell you, though, that there's another date to be excited for: September 1. That's when you'll get your very first taste of the sixth installment in the Xbox racing series via a free demo.
While this is a demo, it sounds like Turn 10 Studios will be giving away quite a lot of meat with it. Players will have access to "a selection of the 460 Forzavista cars" and "highlights of the game's 26 world-famous locales," but those limiting factors seem pretty slim. Both night racing and wet-weather racing will be making an appearance, and the demo cars will offer full damage and working cockpits, which should give gamers a fair idea of what the full title promises.
Along with the demo news, Turn 10 is celebrating FM6's gold certification by releasing details on the game's finalized track listing and announcing yet another spate of new vehicles. New tracks to the series include Brands Hatch, Circuit of the Americas, Daytona, the Hockenheimring, Lime Rock Park, Monza, Rio, and Watkins Glen. The remaining 18 tracks have all been featured in previous titles. In total, Turn 10 is promising over 100 different track configurations, which should address complaints about FM5's limited track listing. The latest list of vehicles includes a number of new racecars, including the Chevrolet Corvette C7.R, a BMW 125i MSport British Touring Car, the Flying Lizard Audi R8 LMS, and a 1969 Lola T163. As previously mentioned, gamers will have access to 460 fully rendered cars.

Forza Motorsport 6 has Gone Gold
The latest mile marker on the road to "Forza Motorsport 6's" launch has arrived: We've gone gold! In two weeks, "Forza Motorsport 6" will be available to play via early access for owners of the Ultimate Edition.
Five days later, "Forza 6" will be unleashed to everyone! Before the full game launches, however, fans will have the chance to experience the thrills of "Forza Motorsport 6" in the official free demo for the game, which launches on Sept. 1.

Everyone who plays the "Forza Motorsport 6" demo will automatically get the new Ford GT delivered to their garage in "Forza Motorsport 6" for no additional cost. In addition, the demo will include additional features that allow fans to get even deeper into the "Forza Motorsport 6" experience.
