Natural born beauty: Make-up free Keira Knightley is fresh-faced as she lands back in London after flight from New York City
She is frequently covered in film make-up when working on a project.
So it's understandable that Hollywood actress Keira Knightley would opt to have the occasional day off for her skin to breathe.
Fortunately, that's exactly what she did when she landed in London's Heathrow Airport on Monday following a transatlantic flight from New York City.

Looking sharp in her black fitted trousers, she matched the look with a star-print top and a long, heavy overcoat. Seen clutching her passport, she also sported a warm hat, which indicated that she had experienced the chilly NYC weather.
The actress had been in Manhattan for work, but also took time out to enjoy the Tribeca Film Festival.
There, she was spotted with Adam Levine at the Begin Again film premiere after party, where she looked more like her usual glam self.

The movie stars Mark Ruffalo as a disgraced former record executive.
He tries to revive his career after discovering Keira Knightley as a hopeful singing sensation who just broke up with her rock star boyfriend, played by Maroon 5’s Adam Levine.
But they obviosuly had some friendly chemistry off-screen, too.
Looking good: Keira clearly doesn't need any cosmetic intervention to look beautiful

British-born Keira has been busy promoting the film throughout NYC, this week.
On Sunday she wore a tiered oyster coloured couture Chanel dress accentuating her much talked about 23 inch waist at the closing night of Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
The layered sequinned skirt and beaded top with scalloped overlay highlighted her already svelte midsection as she attended the annual festival’s gala premiere of her latest film ‘Begin Again’.

And the actress continued the waist-cinching theme into the night by changing into yet another corseted outfit for the evening’s Chanel dinner held in honour of her closing night film at Tribeca Grill.
She arrived in an above the knee pastel pink coloured dress with the lose fitted arms and flowing skirt accentuating her corseted waist.
The actress, who is the face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle perfume, caused a stir last month in a similarly tailored outfit showcasing her middle section.
Wearing a monochrome Karl Lagerfeld-designed dress, the Pirates Of The Caribbean star’s waist looked painfully thin at Paris Fashion Week.
The German designer’s black and white boxcut top and A-line skirt made her middle look as if it was an optical illusion, almost hovering between the two pieces.
The married star has previously told how lacing herself in corseted costumes for period roles had often left her close to fainting.
She has said how she found wearing corsets ‘positively awful’ when filming blockbusters such as Atonement and Anna Karenina.
‘It is not really a surprise we were known as the weaker sex, because you literally cannot get a breath,’ she said.
‘It’s no wonder they were fainting all over the place.’
