Some have called this page "Is that really your tumblr? That's what you're going with?" and "Yeah, it loads fine. Sean, I have other stuff to do." But I prefer to look at it more like an old timey salon except where age old questions of love, art, politics, and the meaning of life are ignored completely in favor of Parks and Rec gifs.

I had this originally saved for Greater Gatsby's return, but it feels right to post it on Mary Kate's birthday 💞

I'm still emotional over how @shipwreckedcomedy's Kat and Ichabod playlists each have a cover of "This Must Be the Place", but Kat's is at the very beginning of hers, where Ichabod's is close to the end.

He's the lost, flustered new guy in town while she's the self-assured, snarky, born-and-raised resident.

It's like, Ichabod's finding his sense of home as Kat is losing hers.

Lines that come together before they cross and move farther apart, diametrically opposed.

But also THESE LYRICS:

And you love me 'til my heart stops Love me 'til I'm dead Eyes that light up, eyes look through you Cover up the blank spots Hit me on the head

I can't decide if it's hilarious or heartbreaking (come on, "hit me on the head"?!), but there's just this sense of their fates being entwined but doomed, or star-crossed, and just a strange inverse of each other that is so full of "what ifs" (and not even in the romantic sense). Plus, the song becomes so dark and tragic from Kat's perspective.

P.S. On the subject of home, "This is Home" by Switchfoot is just such a perfect song for Ichabod. (I don't care if it's cheesy.) He's found his home! He has family!!

All my podcasts are on hiatus, so I've been digging deep for audio content and just listened to a Sean Persaud interview from 2021. He teased that they were thinking about including a past Shipwrecked character in Headless, and I am stumped thinking of who it could be. Almost anyone would require a flashback, since the Shipwrecked characters set in the modern day are limited (the four KITR characters and anyone from the Bookfarters saga, basically).

Did they ever say who that was going to be?

Dan Strauss's Bookfarters delivery guy was in the first draft as an old bud of Max Lee who sees him on the street and completely derails everything. It made us laugh but it was a pretty easy cut.
