Ricoh’s Pentax Q7 may not be super new anymore, but there’s a highly limited-edition version coming out that Pentax fans and collectors might want to watch out for. Just 1,000 of the Pentax Q7 Premium Kit will be made, available worldwide. The kit not only comes with an all-black Q7, but several lenses, as well: the Pentax-01 Standard Prime, Pentax-02 Standard Zoom, Pentax-06 Telephoto Zoom, and Pentax-08 Wide Zoom – the 01 and 02 treated with the same black coating to match the camera. The camera and lenses are accompanied by metal and plastic hoods, the Pentax-100 PL polarizing filter, a camera bag (which holds the camera with the 02 lens mounted, plus up to five Q-mount lenses), and all the usual accessories.

Compact and weighting 7 ounces, the 12.4-megapixel Q7 is still touted as the world’s smallest and lightest interchangeable lens camera system (although Samsung isn’t far behind with its new NX Mini system). It’s not the strongest mirrorless CSC on the market, but it’s also not cumbersome.

If you’ve been looking for a complete compact system camera with several lenses included, this special edition Q7 is a good deal at $1,200. But if you want to be one of the 1,000 buyers, get your funds ready by late April, when the camera kit will be available.

How to transfer photos from an iPhone to an iPhone

We all love making memories, and a great way to collect those memories is to take a quick snap of a gorgeous landscape, a party in full swing, or a particularly incredible meal. The Apple iPhone now also adds a location to your pictures, meaning it can collate those images together into a location-themed album, or show you all the shots you've taken in a specific location. It's a fun little addition, and it's one that adds a lot of personality to the Photos app.
