The meaning behind Little Inferno has been explained by developer Tomorrow Corporation.
Creator Kyle Gray said the fireplace burning simulator isn't a message about global warming or free-to-play games, but about not wasting the time in your life.
The story saw players burn down their home towards the end of the game, escaping the loop of ordering and consuming items in the fireplace.
Little Inferno then became an adventure game, with an explorable town filled with new locations and characters, though most residents were still indoors, burning items in their fireplaces.
"If you have a message in your game - which ours does - chances are people aren't going to get it," Gray told attendees at GDC 2014 including Digital Spy.
Return to the world of Little Inferno with an all new scary holiday story, a mysterious new character, a new catalog, new toys, new combos, and lots of new holiday content to keep you warm.
Tomorrow Corporation's fireplace simulator arrives on the Nintendo Switch. Should you buy it?
I mean what else is there to buy for the switch? might as well simulate a fireplace ;)))

Such an awesome game. A must have for WiiU. Grab it and enjoy. Also I would LOVE another World of Goo Wii U. Another amazing game that would make a perfect fit for the GamePad.
Such a fun game. I hadn't played it for months until yesterday; I'm hooked all over again.
