(CriticalIndieGamer) The portable roots of OMG-Z make for a fast paced game with each level taking anywhere from a few seconds to no more than a few minutes. Gamepad support is there for traditionalists but after utilizing the added keyboard and mouse option we can’t see playing it any other way. It also sports a windowed display option that’s great for getting in a few levels between tweets or writing paragraphs for a video game review.
The story in OMG Zombies! isn’t the greatest, but it’s serviceable. Basically, some mad scientists created a plant pollen that causes creatures to become zombies and explode upon contact and further spreading the disease. Initially humans were not impacted until the same scientists decided to experiment on a young gangster which went horribly wrong.
Visceral chain reaction combo building in a zombie apocalypse with a touch of artistic flair.
Ghostlight today announced that OMG Zombies! is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2019.
