Welcome to the Spoiler Room, a safe place for spoiler addicts to come on a weekly basis to learn what’s coming next on their favorite shows and, hopefully, get a few of their own questions answered. If you want scoop on a specific show, send your questions to spoilerroom@ew.com.

Any Jon Snow scoop for Game of Thrones? — Killen

I hear Jon Snow and Tormund run into trouble after they reach the outpost of Hardhome, and the result is arguably the show’s most ambitious battle scene—and certainly the most special effects intensive—that we’ve seen yet. According to GoT aficionado James Hibberd, it took nearly a month of shooting for a roughly 20 minute sequence, which is pretty insane for a TV series. Bonus: We’ll also have Tyrion and Dany’s first big sitdown chat, and it’s everything fans have hoped for.

How are they handling all these changing characters in the new season of Extant? — Francesca

The outgoing Goran Visnjic will be back for at least the premiere, in which Molly learns of a dangerous secret that sends her into a tailspin of epic proportions. I’ll just say this: Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Are we to expect that the superheroes and villains will really just work together on Legends of Tomorrow? — Tim

“I hope the answer is no on the way to yes,” says Wentworth Miller. “Because if you stuff a bunch of rabid dogs in a barrel and roll it downhill, that’s something that’s worth watching.” However, despite his evil tendencies, Miller’s Captain Cold does have a softer side. “In his relationship with his sister, you see he does have a heart. And there are people that he’s willing to put ahead of himself, so now that he’s aligned with these good guys, for better or worse, they’re going to start influencing him and his way of thinking. I’m excited to explore his shades of gray so we see he’s not just a villain, he’s a man.”

I know that the second half of the new season of Hannibal will draw from the first Lecter book Red Dragon, but does the first half have any basis in the Thomas Harris novels? — Judy

Yes: Novels, plural. We find Hannibal on the run in Italy, in a scenario that resembles certain elements of Harris’ book Hannibal, complete with an Italian investigator named Pazzi (played in the 2001 film by Giancarlo Giannini) chasing the serial killer. But an episode early in the season also draws story elements from Harris’ origin story Hannibal Rising. So season 3 is kind of a remix of every Hannibal book besides Silence of the Lambs—a nice workaround, given that the show still doesn’t have the rights to the Clarice Starling character.

If Sherlock has fallen off the wagon, does this mean Joan will become his sober companion again on Elementary? — Allie

Nope! “Joan will not revert to sober companion mode,” EP Rob Doherty tells me. “She’s past that now. Yes, she can and will be helpful to Sherlock, but primarily as a friend and a partner.”

Anything SVU? — Derek

There’s a chance that we could see Carisi on the other side of law and order next year. “He thinks he’s a lawyer already,” EP Warren Leight says. “That’s something that we’ll get to toward the end of next season for him. If you’re going to law school at night as a New York City cop, it [doesn’t happen quickly]. It’s a process. At some point, he’s going to have to think about what he wants for his career. He’s going to have to declare.”

Please tell me anything about the new season of Rizzoli & Isles! — Trina

Frankie lands in hot water when the show returns, forcing Jane to take an investigation into her own hands in a bid to clear her brother’s name.

Do you have anything on the new season of Defiance? — Richard

The new season will kick off with a time jump that finds things looking pretty desperate in Defiance. Unfortunately, it’s about to get a lot worse as the Votanis Collective looks to take advantage of the town’s weaknesses. Led by Lee Tergesen’s General Rahm Tak, his army will make a very bloody debut.

I could not be more excited that iZombie was renewed for a second season. Willing to give up some braaaaains for some scoop! — Katina

The Max Rager fixer-turned-zombie Sebastian will come back to haunt Liv next week, forcing her to take drastic measures that could put her secret in jeopardy and cost her a friendship.

How long until we find out what’s actually going on in Wayward Pines? — Jane

You won’t have to wait very long to find out the answer—in fact, you’ll start to have a very good idea of what’s going on within the next two episodes. (Or you can cheat and read the book!) Even so, the aftermath of that reveal is enough to keep me coming back for more.

Best news I’ve heard all week: This Cruel Intentions reunion is my everything.
