How did you access Fort Zancudo with the Content Creator? For me it says that its a restricted area so i cannot create any jobs there :(

Create a Deathmatch somewhere outside of Fort Zancudo (I made a Deathmatch near the prison when I tested this), and when you are selecting things to spawn, be sure to give yourself a helicopter of some sort, so that way you can enter the base easily.

Then, when you go to Test the deathmatch, remember where you selected for the helicopter to spawn, go to its location, hop in it, and fly over to Fort Zancudo.

Fort Zancudo

Most guarded location over San Andreas, this place is very interesting. You won't find this base on your map in-game, it's hidden! The only way to find it is to remember it's location. It's on the west side of the map, hover your pointer on it in-game and look for 'Fort Zancudo'.

There's a special map that shows Fort Zancudo, you will not find this map in-game.

304px-FortAirport-GTAV.png

Aircrafts in Fort Zancudo

Fort Zancudo got a lot of vehicles a lot of players would like to have in their hands, though it isn't easy to get them. Some vehicles are so secret that you may not even know they exist! There are 3 aircrafts you might wish to know about, that are found in the Airbase.

Buzzard Attack Helicopter

0_0.jpg

The Buzzard is an attack helicopter, which got a Rocket Launcher and a Vulcan Minigun hanged on each wing - making this helicopter a deadly vehicle. You may find only 3 Buzzards at Fort Zancudo, 1 at the closed hangar next to the opened one, and 2 at the hangar next to Fort Zancudo's Tower.

P-996 LAZER

0_0.jpg

This Jet Fighter is mounted with 2 advanced rockets system and 2 machine guns too, having the same weapons the Buzzard got. This jet got extremely strong engines that let it takeoff within a few seconds after starting the engines. You may find 6 parked LAZERs in Fort Zancudo, and 1 is being used for patrol duties. You may spot a LAZER taking off from the Airbase sometimes, and you might even spot him at Cassidy Creek sometimes.

Titan

0_0.jpg

The Titan seems to be a heavy cargo plane, mounted with 4 engines. This plane seems to be almost impossible to obtain due to the fact you need turn to plane into a proper taking off angle before escaping Fort Zancudo with it - and since it takes 'alot' of time, you are very vulnerable. You may find 2 Titans parked infront of the closed and opened hangars, and 1 Titan is flying around (Most likely at night). There's nothing else special about this plane.

I've made a map of Fort Zancudo with interest point you guys might find useful, take a quick look.

Fort Zancudo Tower

After a deep investigation, I discovered further information about Fort Zancudo! Don't fall to Rockstar's trap, this place worth a shot to look into. Fort Zancudo's Tower seems to be a regular building but it is an enterable building, and not everyone will notice that!

In order to enter the ACT (Air Control Tower) you will need to go to buttom of the tower, and reach that building:

(Overview on the ACT's building)

0_0.jpg

Once you're there, look for the front door.

(ACT's front door, entrance)

0_0.jpg

You wouldn't even believe it! Walk through the door, and you will enter the Tower's interior!

(Reception, 'Lobby')

0_0.jpg

The ACT seems to be the main station for Fort Zancudo. You may also find the Training Room which is a class with a lot of posters about weapons. You can learn about the Guards, Duties and Weapons being used in Fort Zancudo!

("Training Room", Class)

0_0.jpg

Continue forward in the Hall, until you reach the stairs and elevator. You cannot use the elevator, the door would open but it wouldn't let you go up - you'll have to go up in the old way...

Once you reach upstairs you will find a door that leads to the buttom control room.

Guess what you will find there? Except for a view over the airfield and airbase, a Minigun - that's right, they seem to store their weapons in all wrong places.

(Buttom Control Room, Notice the Minigun on the floor)

(View on Fort Zancudo from the Buttom Control Room)

0_0.jpg

You will find last pair of staircase, that leads to the top control room, where basicly you will be able to get a view of the whole base, and for a bonus - a health kit may be found under the table in the center of the room.

(Top Control Room, feat. Trevor Phillips Industries!)

Welcome to Fort Zancudo's Tower, ladies and gentlemen.

The Problem

As far as some of you may notice, there's a problem! This base is amazing and interesting but the only problem is, it's scripted in very sh*t way ( :( ). You cannot actually take out guards stealthy, or infiltrate unnoticed and don't have enough approach options except for loud assault or quick theft of vehicles. What I'd wish to see is giving us an option for stealth approach. There is no way to enter the Airbase Premises without raising the alarm. As soon as you enter a specific area within the base the alarm will raise automaticly and 4 wanted points will be issued. The other problem is, that there is no way to take out a guard silently since whenever a guard is getting killed, no matter what or how the alarm will be raised.

It's a big problem because the smart approach really desereves a chance. Let's hope and pray that this problem will be solved as soon as possible by a patch / update. If you have any possibility to grab Rockstar's attention to the business, please do so - It could solve this problem real quick.

All you need to do is start the Strangers & Freaks mission with Cletus (the second one) and when he says he wants you to kill the elk yourself leave and go to Fort Zancudo. I no what thinking "total bullsh*t" but no - you will find the map almost deserted if you go to Fort Zancudo you not get a wanted level but all the vehicles will be there. THIS WORKS 100%

I know your new here, but try to read the thread before you post. That trick has been covered many times. It's nice for exploring the base to get a feel for it, but is essentially useless as the base is not operating under normal circumstances.

I recently stole a Lazer in GTA Online, two jets chased me & I turned around to shoot one of them, locked on, missile fired but the Lazer used flares! This is the coolest thing I've seen. But it's a shame Lazers we steal don't have flares. I think this was after 1.08 but I may be wrong.

i know its old however... i parachute directly into the hanger and land within feet of the plane. that way im in the plane before they find me. sometimes they even "lose" me and the stars flash...

Its f*ckin impossible to get a jet. The super auto aim tanks and missiles kill you every time. I'm lvl 107 and have never gotten a jet before.

So I was just exploring around the fort with the invincible cheat on and I put a sticky bomb on one of the Sirens and after I detonated it the sound stopped. So I went around and did it to all the other ones I could find until there was only a faint alarm sound. I couldn't find the last one but maybe if you get them all something will happen? Just a theory but seems possible.

If you use cheats use the super jump cheat and the cheat for not dying

also add the slow time when aiming (lvl3) and explosive shots cheat. I always use these when heading towards the base!

Just wondering if theres been any joint effort online to "take control" of the base, whilst I imagine any secrets it holds will most likely be yielded on sp, I'd be interested to try and get a lobby's worth or at least a few people trying to do a survival style approach at the base.

This chopper never lands, only patrols the skies, flees away (if being shot) or explodes.

I've seen it land 3 times now, only on Saturdays around 7:00 - 7:30.

It's a very brief landing though, the opportunity to steal it is no more than 5 full seconds.

I'm going to try it tomorrow, success or not I'll take photos of it when it's landed as well.

Landing location:

Beginning of runway, helipads behind a small caged area of containers & boxes.

Never seen it landing, nice though I'll be checking it out.

0_0.jpg0_0.jpg0_0.jpg

Here's the proof.

Be nice to have a camo cargobob.

Making a snatch a grab attempt tomorrow.

Got it & saved it at a purchased helipad.

Alot nicer than the normal black version that you can buy.

0_0.jpg

Another/easier way is when using the invincibility code. Run over to where it's landing position is & hold off military forces, facing away from the 2 helipads. Every now & then look back at the landing pads & it will sometimes automatically spawn there, already landed. Upon rushing the helicopter, the pilot will actually bail instead of takeoff. Hop in & then reduce your wanted stars with either a code or evasion.

With the Buzzard strike tactic though you don't have to enter the base's perimeter, & only a chance of earning a wanted star or two, but they should go away rather quickly since your airborne already. HOWEVER, the window of opportunity to take it once it's forced to land is EXTREMELY limited. It seems to take around the same amount of damage as a Frogger for it to eventually land, but it lands slower, meaning it's condition worsens much quicker than other helicopters during it's emergency landing.

During the 2nd hunt side mission, it can still spawn on the helipad by running near the location, looking away & then looking back at the spot. However I've personally never been able to steal it this way. When you have wanted stars the pilot sometimes bails for some reason, but since the hunt side mission negates wanted levels, the pilot will just takeoff shortly after it spawns. Even with the speed boost code, you can't get to it before it takes off.

Red circle indicating the location of the helipads I speak of that it can spawn & land on:

stop complaining that the base is OP. go play GTA SA and stay in the base. you'll get toasted even if you're using the No Wanted Level cheat.

in GTA V, you can fly above the base. NO WARNING.

in GTA SA, even if you're using No Wanted Level cheat, SAMs will fire at you. NO MATTER WHAT.

in GTA V, you get the wanted level after around 10 RL seconds or so.

in GTA SA, you get the wanted level IMMEDIATELY.

in GTA V, you can get the Lazer with ease.

in GTA SA, its a suicidal mission EVEN WHILE USING THE GODMODE CHEAT.

the only downgrade is that Tanks spawn in the base and blast you off. unlike in GTA SA which even if there's tanks, they don't fire at you.

(actually, GTA Chinatown Wars and GTA V are the only two games in which the Rhino Tanks fire at you)

so yeah. GTA V Fort Zancudo --> GTA SA Area 69 (though I do love them both)

though for one.......

San Fierro Naval Base FTW!

I'm just now finding out you can enter the tower! I'm glad I stopped playing for a month! I'll have plenty to see and do in a few days! I used to live around Fort Zancudo last October, but sadly online dropped, and I was pretty intimidated by the bases security.

I used to steal the auto sniper rifle in IV with no problems... Pretty sure I can get that mini gun, and find other goodies.

What I'd like to see tested at the bunker is either smoking a cigarrette in the entrance on gtao due to the abundance of no smoking signs, or using tear gas to smoke out the poor ventilation, thus forcing them to open the door.

On the topic of SAMs i think there are SAM emplacements on top of the hangers and control towers. i found some kind of emplacements on the hangers when i was shooting around the base, they could be destroyed and look awfully like SAMs.

On the topic of Heist mission the ease of stealing the cargo-bob was probably scripted into the game .

Rockstar really need to change the structure of the base's security response so it is easier to steal things. trying to take the titan and lazer is hit and miss cause even if you don't get hit by the rockets, the soldiers damage the aircraft with their rifles. I have manged to get a lazer away from the base (as Micheal) but it is severely damaged from the soldiers that the engine eventually dies.

The base should be easier to break into, the base in SA was very easy to break into (with or without cheats) tho it wasn't constantly patrolled by soldiers as is fort zancudo the soldiers only appeared on missions at the base. also why put unique drive-able vehicles in an extremely hard place to liberate them from.

Also as a side note the rhino, buzzard and cargo-bob can be purchased as long as you have the helipad and hanger (the rhino is stored at the hanger not the garage).

It´s actually possible to steal the Titan as well as Cargobob, Buzzard and Lazer! It may be a bit difficult, but nevertheless possible!

(Lazer)

Cargobob)

(Titan)

(failing with Titan)

And if the plane/heli has suffered severe damage, switch to another character and then back, the damage will be repaired!

The Byzantine Empire

The guards are not problem but Rhino tanks are serious headache in Fort Zancudo... It is almost impossible to get Titan out from the base without taking heavy damage.
