With today being Memorial Day, this red, white + blue nautical themed shoot seemed so perfect to share with you lovelies! Nautical is always popular for summer weddings and with the rise in popularity for Sperry Top-Sider shoes to the always on trend stripes, there are lots of great trends to pull together for a fab nautical wedding.
When designing today’s nautical styled shoot, Will & Stacey, Pink Paisley Events and Cori Cook Floral wanted to do something outside of the box for Colorado – so they decided upon a nautical theme with a very New England vibe for the shoot. The bright colors of the bridesmaid dresses, gorgeous flowers, and rope details were able to steal the show in the midst of the dreary, gray day…
Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day with family + friends!

Love her headpiece! Where is it from? Also love the wheel for the cake plate and the girls dresses are adorable! Love this shoot!
Hi, Bridal Mentor — I believe the wheel that was used for the cake plate was actually a home decor item, and not a traditional cake plate.
Love it!!!
I bought te headpiece from etsy! Thank you for the love! Happy Memorial Day!
Cute! Love her rope headband and those nautical style bridesmaid dresses. Happy Memorial Day!
Yay! Thanks for the lovely feature. I love love love this shoot! Thanks to all who participated to make for such beautiful inspiration (:
How FUN! These photos make us wish we could be on the lake this instant.
Where did you get those bridesmaid dresses?
Hi, Erica – I believe Sarah from Pink Paisley Events sourced the dressed from ModCloth. However, it looks like the style has been discontinued. ModCloth has a few other nautical style dresses though.
