Time-lapse shows cruise ship being lengthened by 30 metres

Time-lapse video showing a cruise ship being cut in half and extended by nearly 30 metres has gone viral online, with over 350,000 views on social media.

The work - which took just under two months - was part of a large refurbishment project carried out in 2007 at the Blohm+Voss shipyard in Hamburg.
