State police issued various traffic tickets, along with a misdemeanor charge, to an out-of-state man they found driving on the Thruway in Tarrytown.
Police said they pulled a green Chevy over for traffic violations on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 10:35 p.m. when the driver gave them a false name and said he had no ID.
However, police found his real, though invalid, driver's license in the car, identifying him as a 43-year-old from Beverly, Massachusetts.
They also found his passenger, a 38-year-old woman from Pasadena, Maryland to be in possession of six grams of marijuana, a violation. The woman was given a ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana and released with a court date.
The man was charged with vehicle and traffic violations and criminal impersonation in the second, an A misdemeanor. He was released after posting bail and given a court date.
