Paul George might want to rethink skipping out on the NBA Dunk Contest.

The Pacers' star got the crowd on their feet after this impressive 360 dunk against the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday night.

The dunk was almost unlike anything we've ever seen before, but it draws comparison to something Vince Carter did in a dunk contest. In 2000 Carter had almost an identical slam to George's. Take a look for yourself.

Following the game, George discussed his dunk and also noted the comparisons to Carter's feat.

Before the game started, George and some of the other Pacers players were putting on a pre-game dunk show. Perhaps this got PG in the mood?

It's not the first time we've seen George make a highlight dunk. He had a windmill slam earlier this season and during the Eastern Conference Finals he impressed the nation with his posterization of Chris "Birdman" Andersen.

Of course with a dunk like that, people took notice. Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was an awe of George's athletic ability and sent him a tweet.
