ABC just officially renewed 9-1-1 for an 8th overall season, and second on the network, Variety reports.
If you don’t know, the fan favorite series aired its first six seasons over on Fox before the network canceled the show. ABC swooped in and saved the series, which began airing season 7 just about 2 weeks ago.
The show’s 100th episode is actually coming up this coming Thursday, so what a way to celebrate!

The 65-year-old actress was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It was a historic nomination for an actor within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, the Academy Award ultimately went to Jamie Lee Curtis for Everything Everywhere All At Once. Nearly one year later, Angela is opening up about the situation.

The trailer for Millie Bobby Brown‘s new Netflix film Damsel has arrived!
Here’s the logline: A dutiful damsel agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to find the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive
The film also stars Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Brooke Carter, Angela Bassett and Robin Wright!
About the film, Millie told Netflix’s Tudum.com, “She’s a damsel who doesn’t need to be saved. She saves herself in many ways. It subverts what you expect: You’re expecting the prince to turn around and save her, and…no. Don’t wait for the prince.”
The film hits Netflix on March 8.

The 2024 Governors Awards brought out so many stars for the big event!
Stars including Margot Robbie, Florence Pugh, Leonardo DiCaprio, Zac Efron, and hit the red carpet at the 14th annual event on Tuesday evening (January 9) held at The Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood, Calif.
During this year’s Governors Awards, Angela Bassett, filmmaker Mel Brooks, Sundance Institute’s Michelle Satter, and editor Carol Littleton will all be awarded honorary Oscars for their contributions to the film industry.

Amanda Seyfried and Angela Bassett don beautiful, strapless, black gowns as they hit the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 65-year-old 9-1-1 actress has joined the cast of Zero Day, a six-episode conspiracy thriller series.
Along with Angela, seven other stars have also just been announced to star in the show, which just started production in New York.
