A Texas officer had his attempt to capture a loose chicken foiled by the clever fowl. Video shows Freeport police officer Curtis Land chasing the chicken around a parking lot before police said it escaped near a Church's Chicken and was not seen again.

"He gave it his best Rocky Balboa impression but he lost sight of the bird around Church's Chicken restaurant," they wrote.
The rooster repeatedly sprinted just outside of Land's grasp before hiding underneath a police vehicle and ultimately making its escape.
"Not sure what happened to it from there," police wrote. "If anyone sees it, we have a warrant for Felony Fowl Evading!"
