A series of images that experiments with nature photography in colour and black and white, looking at the concept of impressionism and whether the same can be explored with photography and the right kind of lens, over the course of a day. Inspired by the riveting work of impressionist painter Monet, this project aims at capturing similar impressionism with minimal editting (colour intensive only) to understand the skill to make an image similar to a piece of art.
This series aims to understand the differences of shadows and lights in fine art paintings, and natural light on an overcast day where a storm threatened. The location for this shoot is a wedding venue, as winter sets in quietly, subtly over the flora around the garden.
