Can I use the embedded links below a post feature and the widgets feature (I definitely want the amazon links on the right side of every page on my site) at the same time?
Yes.
Can I choose what products get put in the embedded links and widget?
Yes.
And I’m using some other widgets, will this one prevent the other ones from working properly?
Possible but not likely. Sometimes plugin conflicts occur but if you report, it is likely fixed.
I saw a review that said something about upgrading from 1.x and recreating widgets
If you start using v3, don’t worry about it.
Post issues if you get trouble using the plugin!

Ok great, thanks. Also, what about if people from another country click on one of my amazon links and buy something? Will it still get credited to my account? And is there any sort of youtube tutorial I can watch on how to use Amazon Auto Links? This is the first time I’m trying this with one of my websites and I certainly want to get it right and then use it on my other websites. Thanks again.

To localize links, you can use a plugin for it and they should work well with Amazon Auto Links.
These plugins can handle it.

No video tutorials for it at the moment, sorry. But it should be strait forward. First you create a unit. Then display it on posts and pages with the shortcode, auto-insert, or widget.
Play around with it and post topics if you get stuck.

I want to install Amazon Auto Links on my site (www.copyvigilante.com) but when I found it in a plugins search on wordpress.org it says: “Untested with your version of WordPress”. I’m running version 4.3.1, which I believe is the most current version. Will Auto Links work with this version? Thanks.
