But one of her fans asked the question on everyone’s mind: Will there be a sequel to 1993 Halloween classic Hocus Pocus, in which Midler starred alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as youth-obsessed witches, and delivered a showstopping performance of “I Put a Spell on You”? GALLERY: Find out where the cast of Hocus Pocus is up to now A few days before Halloween, Midler jokingly tweeted that a sequel had been postponed because Disney was “having trouble finding a virgin.” (Only a virgin, of course, can reawaken the three Sanderson sisters from their deathly sleep by lighting the Black Flame Candle on All Hallows Eve, so a not-yet-deflowered protagonist is absolutely critical to the success of any Hocus Pocus follow-up.) All jokes aside, however, Midler finally answered the question seriously during her Facebook Q&A.
