A population of illiterate, non-thinking morons can’t possibly obtain good paying jobs. This country spends $12,000 per public school student per year on education and this is the outcome? The factual data presented below paints a picture of an empire in rapid decline. We are too far gone. No amount of money or presidential election is going to change this course. We chose this path in the 1960s and now we will reap the consequences.
Education
- In a study of literacy among 20 ‘high income’ countries; US ranked 12th
- Illiteracy has become such a serious problem in our country that 44 million adults are now unable to read a simple story to their children.
- 50% of adults cannot read a book written at an eighth grade level
- 45 million are functionally illiterate and read below a 5th grade level
- 44% of the American adults do not read a book in a year
- 6 out of 10 households do not buy a single book in a year
Economy
- According to the Pew Research Center, the median income of middle-class households declined by 4 percent from 2000 to 2014.
- The Pew Research Center has also found that median wealth for middle-class households dropped by an astounding 28 percent between 2001 and 2013.
- There are still 900,000 fewer middle-class jobs in America than there were when the last recession began, but the population has grown significantly larger since that time.
- According to the Social Security Administration, 51 percent of all American workers make less than $30,000 a year.
- An astounding 48.8 percent of all 25-year-old Americans still live at home with their parents.
- According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 49 percent of all Americans now live in a home that receives money from the government each month, and nearly 47 million Americans are living in poverty right now.
- In 2007, about one out of every eight children in America was on food stamps. Today, that number is one out of every five.
- The median net worth of families in the United States was $137, 955 in 2007. Today, it is just $82,756.
soooo, you’re saying there’s a correlation between being stupid and being poor…?
well that’s just RAYCISS!!!!!!!
The government public education system cannot fix itself; support vouchers.
You don’t get a stunt frog.
Marketwatch:
“Hillary Clinton’s New York primary victory speech in April focused on topics including income inequality, job creation and helping people secure their retirement. It was a clear attempt to position herself as an every woman.
She gave the speech in a $12,495 Giorgio Armani tweed jacket.”
That is one fucking ugly sack, and the $12k jacket is ugly too.

What you have presented is a system that has failed.
Fiddle on my friends, Rome is has started to burn.
What? I was just reading on yahoo finance the other day how the economy is all rainbows and skittle-shitting unicorns. Of course their propaganda always cites some “progressive” think tank. LOL.

Whites must Separate and Segregate based upon race if there’s any hope for society. It would be hard but can be done.Same in Europe. Multiculturalism is a lie straight from hell itself or the Frankfurt School of Higher Criticism which is still run by demonic Jews.
Typo in the text: “An astounding 8 percent of all 25-year-old Americans still live at home with their parents.” should be 48.8%, not 8%. Just FYI.

Admin – and it isn’t coming back. That was a bubble, and it has burst.
Income is not coming back, either. It will continue to meander down (well, meander may be optimistic – it may well plummet) until it reaches around 2/3 of its real $ high. The US middle class is still too highly paid to compete in a global market. But taxes will keep climbing.
Middle class will become working poor. A once in forever opportunity was squandered by the US. And it is not coming back. The bird of paradise never shits twice in the same place.
The majority might not be able to read, but they can still vote to take all the money away from those who still can read. So why learn to read?
50% of adults can’t read a book on an eighth grade level. I’m sorry, but you’re going to have to cite the study you got that from for me to believe that.
The public school system is not broken. It is working exactly as designed. The appearance of ineptitude there, and in the entirety of government, keeps the conditioned and unimaginative thinking they can and should fix it. None of their solutions will work. Anything will do for the owners of the system, except for the masses seeing the emperor’s tushy and discarding it altogether:

STAGGERING ILLITERACY STATISTICS
California
•According to the 2007 California Academic Performance Index, research show that 57% of students failed the California Standards Test in English.
•There are six million students in the California school system and 25% of those students are unable to perform basic reading skills
•There is a correlation between illiteracy and income at least in individual economic terms, in that literacy has payoffs and is a worthwhile investment. As the literacy rate doubles, so doubles the per capita income.
The Nation
•In a study of literacy among 20 ‘high income’ countries; US ranked 12th
•Illiteracy has become such a serious problem in our country that 44 million adults are now unable to read a simple story to their children
•50% of adults cannot read a book written at an eighth grade level
•45 million are functionally illiterate and read below a 5th grade level
•44% of the American adults do not read a book in a year
•6 out of 10 households do not buy a single book in a year
The Economy
•3 out of 4 people on welfare can’t read
•20% of Americans read below the level needed to earn a living wage
•50% of the unemployed between the ages of 16 and 21 cannot read well enough to be considered functionally literate
•Between 46 and 51% of American adults have an income well below the poverty level because of their inability to read
•Illiteracy costs American taxpayers an estimated $20 billion each year
•School dropouts cost our nation $240 billion in social service expenditures and lost tax revenues
Impact on Society:
•3 out of 5 people in American prisons can’t read
•To determine how many prison beds will be needed in future years, some states actually base part of their projection on how well current elementary students are performing on reading tests
•85% of juvenile offenders have problems reading
•Approximately 50% of Americans read so poorly that they are unable to perform simple tasks such as reading prescription drug labels

“50% of adults cannot read a book written at an eighth grade level”
Wow that’s a shocking statistic; I had no idea that it’s that bad. That’s just pathetic.
And then what admin posted at 7:52— OMG! SMH
Believe it or not less than an hour ago UPS delivered a package of three items that I ordered from Amazon on Saturday and yes I went there thru the link on TBP. Anyway one of the items is a book. Just sayin.
Sean says:
“50% of adults can’t read a book on an eighth grade level. I’m sorry, but you’re going to have to cite the study you got that from for me to believe that.”
Sean, this is a great opportunity for you to not only educate the shit throwing monkeys that inhabit this site but an even greater opportunity for you to educate yourself. Don’t be scared. Your kind and ever so benevolent government provides big buildings full of BOOKS for just such a purpose or you can use Al Gore’s innerwebz.
That’s how most of us here came to learn all the things we know about the collapse of western society. We just could not believe or even understand the bullshit that was being bandied about by corrupt cocksuckers who claim to be our representatives or the talking heads on the news so we took it upon ourselves to educate ourselves. Give it a whirl! You might just amaze yourself.
Please, do come back back and let us know where we or the author are wrong.

We just came back from a vacation to Iceland. They have a 100% literacy rate and everyone speaks at least two languages. The contrast with the US was startling.
If we did not have our animals, which can not be moved to Iceland, we would move in a heartbeat. If you are looking for a different vacation to wonderful country full of smart, happy, and polite people consider Iceland. The women are gorgeous.
