New Rochelle Man Pleads Guilty to Child Sex Assault

He was working part-time as an assistant teacher at a day care when the assault occurred.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY - A New Rochelle man will go to jail for sexually assaulting a child.

Acting Westchester County District Attorney James A. McCarty announced Tuesday that Isaac McKnight, 24, of Webster Avenue, pled guilty to first-degree criminal sexual act, a felony.

On Nov. 5, 2015, McKnight was working as a part-time assistant teacher at a day-care center in Tuckahoe when he sexually assaulted a 4-year-old child at the center.

An investigation carried out by the Village of Tuckahoe police and the Westchester County DA’s Office resulted in McKnight’s arrest Nov. 12, 2015.

He remains at the Westchester County Jail and is scheduled to be sentenced April 26.
