Floyd Mayweather also sent a message to Yahoo Sports following the passing of the all-time boxing legend.
"I am truly saddened to hear that we have lost such a great man. He was truly great inside the ring, but moreso outside the ring because he was a great ambassador for human life and peace. He set an unbelievable example for many generations to come. My heart and prayers go out to his family. It is truly a sad day."
