Daylight Saving Time 2015 is the practice of setting the clocks forward one hour from Standard Time during the summer months, and back again in the fall, in order to make better use of natural daylight.

The good news for Westchester County’s early risers is that sunrise will be about an hour earlier, or 7:25 a.m. on Nov. 1, and there will be more light in the mornings. But it also means sunset will be at 5:52 p.m. on the 1st.
