Arcade Fire's Will Butler has announced Friday Night, a live album recorded mostly during a June 2015 performance at Chicago's Lincoln Hall. The album comprises five songs from Butler's Policy debut LP, two songs he recorded for The Guardian as part of a songwriting project, and five brand new songs. The album artwork was designed by "Broad City" star Abbi Jacobson, and can be seen below along with the tracklist. Below, you can also watch a live recording of Policy cut "Take My Side." Friday Night is out June 17 via Merge.

Butler shared a statement about the album in a press release:

Think of this as a comedy record. In some ways literally-Brooklyn comedian Jo Firestone does the introduction and the "solo" in "Friday Night"-but also, it's an album based on working out ideas in a room full of people, playing off their energy and expectations. It's about taking complicated emotions and wringing communal joy from them, and then translating that joy onto record. So here you go!
