Just in time for Beyoncé's special — and the season premiere of Game of Thrones, if that's more your style — HBO Now has launched on the Xbox One. The app rolled out this morning, giving people without cable subscriptions the chance to sign up for HBO and stream its huge catalog of TV series.

HBO Now's first console launch

HBO Now debuted this time last year on the Apple TV and began rolling out to other platforms over the summer. It's now available on other iOS devices, as well as Android, Amazon's Fire devices, and Roku. It's also accessible through desktop browsers.

Xbox One is the first console launch for HBO Now; the app is yet to come to the PlayStation 4. Both consoles have access to HBO Go, however, so people subscribing to HBO through cable have had easy access through their console for a while now. As always, HBO Now costs $14.99 per month.
