But the young boy hasn't been seen since Friday and police divers are now searching three lakes in Fort Qu’Appelle in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

A statement on a "Finding Greagan" Facebook page said: "Greagan is still not found, we are searching by land, water and air.

"Thank you to all the firsts responders and volunteers across all of Western Canada. Keep Greagan in your prayers."

Tamaine's body was found on a beach at Echo Lake on Saturday afternoon with cops saying they don't have any evidence to suggest foul play.

Police divers and boats have been searching that lake and two others - Mission and Pasqua - for Greagan.

Land and air searches have also been carried out in Fort Qu’Appelle, which is home to about 2,000 people.

Natalie Gray, a spokeswoman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), told the Regina Leader-Post boats were searching local lakes for the youngster.

But she wouldn't be drawn on whether the boy went into the water, adding: "It would be inappropriate for me to speculate, but those are the efforts that are ongoing at this point."

A post mortem is now due to take place to establish how mum-of-three Tamaine died.

The keen gardener had posted on Facebook previously about her diagnosis with manic depression but said she had reached a level of acceptance.

She had also shared pictures of her son and the plants they were growing over the summer with uplifting messages.

Tamaine, who had written at least two books called Higher Essence Healing and ABC’s of Love, said: "Since I was diagnosed as manic-depressive a zillion years ago, I never really admitted or accepted the label. I always called myself a workaholic and a perfectionist...

"Tonight as I am weeding and rototilling, I have to admit...I may be a bit manic! I think I may be willing to label my 'depressed' state as the normal state of a typical person (which I visit very very rarely).

"I am nuts. I love me. I am who I am and I love my life. I do today what I can do.

"Life is beautiful when one chooses to stop and look around."
