Here's his official character description: "Strong and smart, Eric came from a very rough background and turned his life around in the Army Rangers. Now back home in Virginia with his wife Nicole, he’s pulled back into action as his past comes looking for him."Earlier this month, FOX ordered a pilot for 24: Legacy. Legacy will retain 24's signature one episode/one hour format and feature an entirely new cast of characters. However, FOX's Dana Walden said "never say never" to appearances from the original series' characters.
The new series will begin filming this winter with former 24 director and co-executive producer Stephen Hopkins at the helm. Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24), Manny Coto (24) and Evan Katz (24) are all on board as executive producers.The busy Hawkins will also be seen in the upcoming Kong: Skull Island, alongside Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Toby Kebbell, John Goodman, John C.
