The School of Social, Political and Geographical Sciences
Geography Department
The Department seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Physical Geography from 1 October 2016. We welcome applicants with research and teaching specialisms within any part of physical geography, but have a particular interest in candidates with expertise in fluvial geomorphology, sedimentology or ecohydraulics, and especially in innovative interdisciplinary work at the interface of these river science sub-disciplines.
The successful applicant will be expected to enhance the Department's existing reputation for world-class scholarship and to contribute to the REF profile through individual and collaborative initiatives within the Department's research groups.
