JCC On The Hudson Forming Delegations For Maccabi Games

TARRYTOWN, N.Y.. – JCC on the Hudson is beginning preparations for this summer's Maccabi Games and ArtsFest, both scheduled to take place in August.

Plans are to take delegations of Jewish teenagers to both events.

The Games take place in St. Louis from July 31 to Aug. 5, featuring 16 sports ranging from soccer to table tennis, while the ArtsFest will be in Stamford from Aug. 7 to 12 and features eight disciplines from Rock Band to martial arts.

JCC on the Hudson's Maccabi Director, Steven Weisbrot, will hold an information session for both events on Monday, Jan. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at JCC on the Hudson's offices, located at 371 South Broadway in Tarrytown.

Prospective Maccabi athletes should be between the ages of 13 and 16, while ArtsFest participants should be between 13 and 17.
