She posted the picture on Instagram of Todd, 51, holding up baby Sailor, who is smiling back at her grandfather, along with the message: 'Loves her papa, my dad has been doing great, wanted to give everyone who's been asking an update.'
The 25-year-old also has a seven-year-old son Tripp with her ex-fiance Levi Johnston, while Sailor Grace is fathered by Palin's other former fiancee, hero marine Dakota Meyer.
After a month's long legal battle, an Alaska judge awarded Palin and Meyer joint physical and legal custody of Sailor on March 10, reported People.
Bristol's mother Sarah also gave her social media followers an update last week to say her husband was in 'a good place'.
The former vice presidential candidate said: 'So grateful for your prayers and support during Todd's recovery! He's in a good place.
In our 35 years, I've never seen the guy have to literally hold still, sit down, and take a (winced) breath. And I've never seen Todd so touched by the kindness shown during difficult days.'
Palin added that Todd had been 'overwhelmed' with all the support he had received following the crash.

Palin's mother Sarah (pictured right with husband Todd) also gave her social media followers an update last week to say her husband was in 'a good place'.
She said: 'It IS overwhelming, friends' goodness permeating the situation. Todd is always, always doing what he can for others, and rooting for anyone going through life's trials.
'It's amazing to realize his character is recognized outside of our four walls. He's got a great heart... to go along with two inflated lungs now, metal holding bones together, and stitched up epidermis that makes him appreciate good health more than ever.'
The post comes on the coattails of the very public feud between Palin and Azaelia Banks and just a a week before Twitter ruled it would not suspend the singer's account over her violent comments.
The content Twitter approved of included tweets that had Banks calling for Palin to 'get headf****d by a big, veiny, ashy black d**k' and for 'the biggest burliest blackest n*****s' to 'run a train on her.'
Palin has said she is planning to sue Banks over the tweets.
Bristol herself had waded into the murky feud to stand up for her mother, only to be met by this tweet from Banks: 'Bristol Palin need to shut it the f*** up and get herself a nuvaring.'
